Questions about this policy or your information: enquiries@francevacances81.com

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you send an enquiry or booking request through our website forms, we collect your name, email address, preferred dates and anything you choose to tell us in your message.

When you book, we also keep the details needed to manage your stay, such as party size, payments received and correspondence.

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

HOW WE USE IT

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, manage your booking and stay, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a rental agreement, performing that agreement, and complying with legal obligations.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Squarespace may process data outside the UK and EU under approved safeguards. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months. Booking records are kept for as long as French tax and accounting rules require.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing enquiries@francevacances81.com. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the CNIL in France (cnil.fr) or, if you live in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

COOKIES

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies that our website needs to work, for example to remember your cookie choices and keep the site secure. These are always on.

With your permission, we also use analytics cookies provided by Squarespace to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. These are only set if you select "Accept all" or turn them on under "Manage cookies".

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" button on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
